These rings are called eyelets, or curtain grommets. One of the top reasons eyelet curtains are becoming increasingly popular is their ease of installation. The eyelets are already fitted into the fabric, so all you need to do is thread the curtain rod through them. Pinch pleats use more fabric and are fuller than pencil pleats. The pleats can be pulled as tightly as you&#8217;d prefer.
